Awaken Chiropractic philosophy.

Chiropractic is a science, an art and a philosophy. Scientific research proves evidence-based facts about chiropractic care. This is why we can definitively say chiropractic care is the safest and most effective way to facilitate healing. The art of chiropractic is the energy from doctor to patient and skill of trained hands. This is what allows Awaken to be unique by Dr. Erin tuning her adjustments to fit what you need specifically at that moment. The philosophy is what we have to fall back on and is what gives us our foundation of why we do what we do.

Ultimately, please know that your body is amazing! You are not lacking in anything and have all of the tools and resources you need to live a healthy, pain free, anxiety free, happy life within you already. However, our environment is not always suited for health and wellness. Our environmental stressors of trauma, toxins and stressful thoughts make our body adapt away from optimal functioning. With time, we continue adapting far enough away that now we are dysfunctional, in pain, not sleeping well, are moody, have chronic illnesses and other symptoms that we know are signs of reduced health.

Chiropractic reconnects your brain to your body, and pushes a reset button to awaken your brain and body back up to optimal functioning. We are all born with this potential within us. Every single cell in your body has an innate intelligence that already knows what to do. We just need to remove any interference stopping that from expressing itself and shining.

So, are you ready to awaken your potential within?

Jordan became interested in functional medicine after she was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at age 9, she was told by conventional doctors "eat whatever you want, just take more insulin."
